do you suspect that your child might be gifted but don t want to suggest your thoughts publicly? are you saddened that nobody recognises that your child is gifted?
do you sometimes feel satisfied with the school your child attends and the next day you start to consider home-schooling? just because you don t have the answers now doesn t mean you will always live with your hopelessness. You could end up being able to make decisions about the needs of your gifted child better than you ever did.
do you feel helpless? do you feel your child s frustration? are you pulling your hair out?? first of all, helping you learn has its own rewards. being able to share my enjoyment and knowledge of giftedness in children is a gift. educating children, trainee teachers and fellow colleagues is my forte. I am also a life-long learner. I have earned a bachelor of education from charles sturt university, new south wales and followed that up with a diploma in educational administration, a certificate in business leadership and multiple hobby and personal development courses along the way.
after graduation, i started a 25 year career teaching primary / elementary school in a variety of education systems within australia and asia.
