hi, i'm steven lock. when i started my career in the building industry i never thought how confusing getting a permit could be.

i was very surprised that most people i speak to think the first step to getting a permit to build is to go to the council…

…and how oblivious they are to the cost of and time it will take to get a building permit.

it’s been an everyday activity for me for nearly 25 years. i have helped first home owners, renovators and developers realize their dreams and have the house they desire built the way they want it.

   what can i say! steve has decades of architectural and design experience and it shows. We had a large block that just had a house, garden and pool. It was missing atmosphere. Steve consulted with us as owner builders and designed two out-buildings.the designs will be centre pieces of the property and fitted in with the existing house and veranda style.
